The Balkans

One region of the world I have always had fascination for is the Balkan peninsula.  The region sits in southeastern Europe and holds many countries who were once part of the former Yugoslavia.  Vice.com, a website I have mentioned before in my blog, has created a great set of videos to open westerners' eyes to the region - its celebrations and struggles.  Here is Part 1 of 7.  Enjoy!
